Episode Synopsis
Alacie, a teenage aspiring writer, wakes from a foreshadowing nightmare. She begins her day like always a quick workout session as she races to catch the bakery before they switch to the lunch menu. People she passes seem out of place, more than the usually city hustle and bustle. Her friend Devin, who is in love with her, serves her her usual before making her way to boarding school. She meets up with her other friend, Gregorio. They gossip about the current world affairs and how the world is crumbling with corruption. Alacie is waiting on news from her newest writing submission.
Later that evening, Alacie is playing video games with her older brother, Seth. They continue playing and drinking with Seth's girlfriend Holly.
The next morning begins the same, exactly the same. Alacie leaves their apartment in a jog towards the cafe where she receives her usual from Devin. This time the world seems slower and the hairs on her skin stand on end. Ruckus from outside steals their attention. Alacie and Devin walk out onto the side walk and witness a school bus stuck in the middle of an intersection. Alacie springs into action before anyone else realized the danger.
She breaches the bus steps as the bus driver shoves his way past her abandoning the children. There Alacie witnesses a runaway tracker trailer truck bulletin down the hill heading directly towards the intersection.
Jumping into action Alacie saves the busload of children. One child is left - Alacie attempts to coerce him to leave, but the child was too afraid. She swaddles him in her arms taking the impact of the truck.
She leads the boy to safety before everything fades to black.
A piercing white light blinds her as she awakes. A velvety voice speaks to her, recruiting her to become the next Darklin Fighter.
Season Synopsis:
Alacie is a normal sixteen year old girl. She grew up blessed with love and genuine humanity. The way she was raised speckled a sense of sarcasm and hard shell, but through and through she is a good human being. She lives in the city with her brother and his girlfriend.
Alacie sacrifices her life and future to save a busload of innocent children. Because of this selfless sacrifice, she was selected by the Gods to become a Darkin Fighter.
A Darkin Fighter is a warrior who fights between the veil of reality and the underworld. They use the magic of light to fight against the Darkins AKA demons who feed off the human's souls.
The God that chose her, went against the protocol to recruit her. She was doubted from the beginning, but she has proven through many trials that she is not only a true Darkin Fighter, but is the one that was prophesied to become the balance of good and evil and the ability to harness the powers of the light and darkness.
