In a world where species are segregated by the type of monster they are, a human Zackary Lawlor, is selected to participate in the annual Monster Bowl. He must travel outside the santuary of the his city to survive fighting through a gauntlet of arenas. His mission is to fight against ghouls and monsters worse than he could have ever imagined.
