Celeste witnesses the charateristics of a great king when her uncle risks himself to allow her time to escape an attack at his castle. She travels back to her kingdom to live with the biggest and most powerful coward she's ever known, her father and her king. 

 

A secret horse ride to the neighboring town to pick up extra food for her townspeople turns to the worst as Celeste just manages to lose her father's guards and risks the life of the person who saved her.

 

Celeste ease drops on her father's new scheme to become even more powerful. Celeste, who's already dodging her father's poor attempts to lure potential husbands her way, now has to deguise herself as the savior, once more, in order to save her brother and the man who risked his life to save hers. She and a group of sketchy men travel across the country side and into the pits of the mountain to bring back a key from the underworld, just to hand it over to the one man who will use it worse than Hades himself.
