Future apocalyptic world flourished with a new alpha species. ZOMBIES. Zombies took control evolving into a working society while the few humans were forced into hiding.
STAY AWAY FROM HUMAN RULES:
-
Smell of fire. Run.
-
Trip wires. Check waist/knee height.
-
Where there is one; there are more.
-
Don’t follow the sound.
-
If you come face to face with one; they are more scared of you than you are of them.
Take a look inside:
GRADES
-
Grade F - Bottom Feeders, they are the ones you see in ‘night of the living dead’. Slow, only impulse if to feed. Decomposing. Typical zombie visual.
-
Grade E - Not smart, but can think, climb - food is only on mind. Still slow. Visually similar to Grade F.
-
Grade D - Self aware. Communicates through caveman grunts. Still physically slow, but stronger cognitive brain waves.
-
Grade C - Aware of self and surroundings. Can think on its own. Physically and mentally more functionable. Can speak to one another and understand one another. Apparence is less decomposing, but skin still rots and still only dies with disconnecting head from spinal cord.
-
Grade B - The grade between C & A where cell rejuvenation was in the testing stage affecting skin pigmentation and cognitive psychiatric.
-
Grade A - human-like comparison. Still need the raw food diet. High cognitive activity. Able to function in a civilization. Able to make decisions based on pros and cons. Self aware and has emotional impulses. Apparence: due to cell rejuvenation. The skin decomposing issue was resolved. But pigments of the skin have been altered. Discolored in gray, greens, bleached skins. Eyes and hair gray/white spectrums.
-
Grade Z - RARE - higher cognitive functionality. Extreme physical abilities. Heightened senses. Fast, strong, intelligent.
Episode Synopsis:
Phil, the son of the World Z.0 politician, wakes up in his home. Gramps is in the eatery. He greets Phil with a grunt, Gramps’ jaw is permanently removed. You see, once you hit a certain generational gain you become deteriorating beyond cell rejuvenating help. Gramps slides a bowl with Phil’s food. Brains. But not human brains. UNKNOWN ANIMAL brains. YUK. Phil groans rolling his eyes loosely around his head. Gramps smacks him upside the head; Phil’s eye pops out, and Gramps loses his finger. They share a laugh putting their body parts back in. Gramps grinds up his food while Phil finishes his. He tells Gramps he is going out with Renny later. Gramps makes a joke of completing the first stage of Brainage, which is time spent learning basic and advanced survival skills and training. Phil learned everything from the history of World Z.0, the start of their species, the fall of humans. The evolution they rose throughout the centuries. As well as fighting, hunting, gathering, and tracking. They learned the enemies tactics and traps they use.
Phil strolls down the street, giving a glimpse of World Z.0. The ground is cracked and dirty. Nature is taking over the pavement, vines and weeds grow wildly. A pink/red tint seems like it is all over. The Blood Stain. The cities buildings originated from human era crumble. The newer homes built by his ancestors aren’t as tall or large, but they don’t have to be. They housed zombies just fine from the weather. The weather gets really bad, they base their time measurements off the seasoned storms. A DOG runs quickly past Phil. 3 ZOMBIES chase the dog. They wrestle it to the ground, punch through its chest cavity, and pull out its heart. They share the two zombies share the heart and the other picks through its intestines. Phil gives them a thumbs up and peers over to his neighbor. She uses a washboard to clean clothes on the front porch. She raises her hand to say hi, but the arm rips off. She chuckles embarrassed. Phil chuckles back. Phil introduces the world to the audience:
“My gramps told me alllll about the beginning of the world. And when he couldn’t talk because his jaw fell out, my pops filled me in. And let me tell you, us underdogs came up on top! It didn’t look so good to start, but like that brilliant scientist from that super old human movie said, “life will always find a way.”
Phil buys a hand at a meat stand. Renny runs up to him and bites off a finger. They tease each other. It is the last day of brainage until the hunt starts. The hunt is where the weather is just perfect enough where the humans are more apt to come out of hiding and look for food. There is usually a large storm before the hunt starts, but there hasn’t been on yet. Which, Renny, thinks they are going to be walking through it.
Today’s last topic of Brainage, humans. Moans fill the room. We all know about humans. Not a huge threat anymore, they stay as far away from Zombies as possible and there’s not many left. They should be practicing against Grade Zs. The evolved zombies. The elite.
After Brainage, Phil and Renny meet up at the cemetery with their peers to celebrate the end of another brainage and the start of their first hunt. They get intoxicated using formaldehyde while listening to the stories from the previous years hunts. Renny gets too sick; Phil and Vickie bring him home.
They sneak into Renny’s house overhearing Pops and his brother, Loik, Renny’s dad, argue about the cell rejuvenation project. They end the argument with the promise things will be better after the hunt.
The next day, they suit up and meet at the exit of their city.
